hi guys, I've got Windows Vista. the description says I should have xp or 7 for Python Does that mean it won't work at all? If so, is there any other python version that will work with vista and be compatible with this course? I'll appreciate any help

OpenStudy (lyrae):

I don't know which version you're supposed to use, but most python versions should work regrarding of your windows version.

OpenStudy (lyrae):

You can allways try to install. If it works, it works. If not, then there are several other optiones.

I think i;ll do that, thanks:]

OpenStudy (kizolk):

I'm on Vista and it's working just fine! I'm using Python 2.5.4 with IDLE 1.2.4.

You should even be able to use a newer version without issue if you want.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you could always run the shell in xp compatibility mode

thank you all
