OpenStudy (anonymous):

give me a min, let me think :)

OpenStudy (tanya123):

lol I just realized this is the math section...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahah yea want to erase and post it again in the history section? give me time to answer your broad question lol

OpenStudy (tanya123):

haha, no that's fine !

Thinking about this question there is a lot that went on in the 20th century like the Roaring twenties that really showed people's wild and careless side this was a time of flappers and the Harlem Renaissance were a lot of music and a lot of Great Books were produced the like famous Great Gatsby. Furthermore, in the twentieth century had the Great Depression, if you are looking at the literature side a lot of great books were produced to but a lot of people lost everything and the cost of living went way down.And the Great Depression was followed by the Dust Bowl which did not help the people or the living. A lot happened with the people and your question is kind of broad because I could write you a text book so do you want to give me some years in the 20th century that you want me to tell you about exactly.?

@tanya123

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay what years would you like to know about?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mean 1980 and 1982 because the 19's are considered the 20th century?

Girly, I am a little confused between your original question and the years that you want to learn about and I have to go in a few because I have to take some tests; however go to the site below it is a wonderful site and I learned a lot from it. However, if it does not help you and like I said you need to know specific years of the 20th century which is the 19's I would be more and happy to help and you can inbox me with the years and I will tell you about them when I have time later tonight!:) http://kclibrary.lonestar.edu/decade20.html Sorry ttyl hope I helped some @tanya123 I feel bad so when looking at the 1980 - 1989 here is some information that I grabbed from the site above: The 1980s became the Me! Me! Me! generation of status seekers. During the 1980s, hostile takeovers, leveraged buyouts, and mega-mergers spawned a new breed of billionaire. Donald Trump, Leona Helmsley, and Ivan Boesky iconed the meteoric rise and fall of the rich and famous. If you've got it, flaunt it and You can have it all! were watchwords. Forbes' list of 400 richest people became more important than its 500 largest companies. Binge buying and credit became a way of life and 'Shop Til you Drop' was the watchword. Labels were everything, even (or especially) for our children. Tom Wolfe dubbed the baby-boomers as the 'splurge generation.' Video games, aerobics, minivans, camcorders, and talk shows became part of our lives. The decade began with double-digit inflation, Reagan declared a war on drugs, Kermit didn't find it easy to be green, hospital costs rose, we lost many, many of our finest talents to AIDS which before the decade ended spread to black and Hispanic women, and unemployment rose. On the bright side, the US Constitution had its 200th birthday, Gone with the Wind turned 50, ET phoned home, and in 1989 Americans gave $115,000,000,000 to charity. And, Internationally, at the very end of the decade the Berlin Wall was removed - making great changes for the decade to come! At the turn of the decade, many were happy to leave the spendthrift 80s for the 90s, although some thought the eighties TOTALLY AWESOME.
