Find all solutions to the equation. (no calculator) 2cosx(sinx) - cosx = 0 Explanation on how to do it would be more helpful than just an answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Perhaps factor it 1st: cosx(2sinx-1)=0

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well remove the common factor and you ahve cos(x)(2sin(x) -1) = 0 so,solve cos(x)= 0 and 2sin(x) -1 = 0 hope it helps

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

then you can use exact values

Thanks! :)
