For a large cooking project, Arthur needs to put 18 cups of water into a large pot. He can transport a maximum of 4 cups from the sink in a single trip. The pot already contains 5 cups of water. How many trips are required for Arthur to fill the pot to 18 cups?

18-5 to get the cups he still needs then divide that by 4 to get the number of trips round your answer up if you don't get a whole number this is because trips cannot be defined as half a trip or a quarter trip; he'll still need 1 trip to bring 1 or 3 cups over, same as the original 4
