Could be.  But the good news is you did not pass out, you did not die, etc.  So you will do better if you ever need to do this again because you are a little more used to it.  That helps if you are in a job and suddenly you are responsible for presenting something to others at work!

Actually, that sort of thing happens from a drop in pressure... and it has happened.  My professor was shook up one night because the class before ours he had a girl go into convulsions from the stress.  Turns out she is epileptic and stress was a trigger!  So he told us about the few other times he has had student pass out, throw up, or otherwise lose it on speech nights.

Yah.  All sorts of fun.  So really, if you are new to speaking and got the whole thing out, you did good!  I have done a few dozen presentations and speeches thanks to different classes.  Had Sociology and Japanese teachers that had us do one or two a class... so that added up right there.  And two speech classes.  So now, well, I am OK with it.
