Research and provide a brief history of the Pythagorean Theorem (1–2 paragraphs).

The Pythagorean theorem is one of the earliest know theorems to ancient civilizations. The theorem was beleieved to have been created around 530 B.C. by a man named Pythagoras, a Greek mathematician and philosopher. Although it is believed that Pythagoras was the creator of this theorem, there has been historical discoveries that a group known as the Babylonians knew this theorem 1000 years before Pythagoras came up with the idea.
