I forgot how to maffs halp pls? http://prntscr.com/2ujm4e
Get common denominators
So far i have this \[\frac{ 2 }{ x+3 }-\frac{ 1 }{ x }=\frac{ -6 }{ x(x+3) }\] now what?
Multiply by a creative 1
creative one? D: my teacher doesnt teach me these things
I meant multiply by the common denominator. \[\Large \frac{ 2 }{ x+3 }*(x(x+3))-\frac{ 1 }{ x }*(x(x+3))=\frac{ -6 }{ x(x+3) }*(x(x+3))\] Cancels leaving: \[\LARGE 2x-(x+3)=-6\]
when LaTeX doesnt wrap........ >.>
D: wut
\[x=-3?\]
Apparently so~
Wonderful teacher you are~
WAIT, that's wrong >.> Can't be -3.
I already submitted it to be graded Hey sus D:
Darn it, but you should of stopped me.. the domain is that x can't equal -3.. just noticed ._.
so it would have been \[x \neq 3?\]
Idk this problem is a bit weird.. it can be but can't.
Why is math so hard and complicated? D:
