OpenStudy (lieutenantgeneral):

OK.

\[\frac{ s ^{2} -2s}{ s ^{2}+3s-10 }\div \frac{ s-5 }{ s+5 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry. It took me a min to type

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well its an expression.... not an equation start by flipping the 2nd fraction and multiplying \[\frac{s^2 - 2s}{s^2 + 3x -10} \times \frac{s + 5}{s - 5}\] next factor both the quadratics \[\frac{s(s -2)}{(s -2)(s + 5)} \times \frac{(s + 5)}{(s - 5)}\] simplify by removing common factors... what's left is the answer
