She's that kinda girl
who shy's away from the crowd
Who doesn't like to look in the mirror
Who's afraid to stand up for herself

She's been wounded
She's been hurt
Who knows how many tears had fallen
Who knows how many blows she's taken

She used to runaway from the past
Trying to make things right
But it only knocked her down
When she couldn't see the light

Nobody knows her sorrows
Nobody sees her weeping
She waits for a hope
She waits for freedom

What she doesn't know
What she can't see
She's a beauty in distress
She's a one in a million

There's someone waiting for her
Who's gonna show her what's right
Who's gonna show her how to love
Who's gonna wipe those tears of hers

She's gonna move on
She's gonna let go
She's gonna discover
who she really is

She'll look in that mirror
and say to herself,
'I'm worth more than the stars in the sky
I'm more than what happened in the past.'
