Diane has a part time job that pays her $6.50 an hour. During one week she works 26 hours and is paid $178.10. She realizes when she sees her check that she has been given a raise. How much per hour is the raise?

I got $2.86. I just want to make sure I have this right.

So, 26(x+6.5)= 178.10
26x + 169 = 178.10
26x= 9.10
x= .35

So, it would be a thirty five cent raise?
