ok..just like adverbs, adverb phrases answer certain questions like : how, when, where, and why. Your first questions, " for the airport " modifies the verb, left, and answers the question " left where " ? for the airport your next question... I think, not 100% sure, that is it also an adverb phrase modifying sneeze, answering the question " how ".
