The potential across the terminals of a store-bought 1.5 V AAA battery always remains at 1.5 V unless the battery has gone dead. True or false

New batteries may retain the potential, but even at this point there will be some variations. As the battery is used, the were will be a drop in potential, although the speed at which this occurs depends on how it is being used and how long it was in storage. So the answer is that it does NOT always remain at 1.5 V unless the battery is dead.
