the 1st critical number is x = 0 thats the value that makes the denominator zero, and is a vertical asymptote... then the x intercept let y = 0 so x + 3 = 0 so x = -3 is an intercept... and lastly... y = 0 is a horizontal asymptote except at x = -3 |dw:1393090150569:dw| hope it helps
