Could someone explain to me how bond angles work? I'm pretty lost on that..

hi This is not really such a simple thing to be fully explained here and but not really such a difficult thing too. I hope u know how to write lewis dot structure and complete octet.If u know that u basically have to find number of bond pairs and no of lone pairs present in central atom. Then we apply VSEPR theory which is really a big topic in itself and arrange bond pairs + lone pairs in 3 dimension space such that the repulsion between them is least and then then assign the structure for bond pairs and find angle between them I m giving 2 links which i m sure would help.Please go through it.
