I need help figuring out this question. The surface area, S, of a bird's wing in square feet is modeled by S(w)=1.29w^(2/3), where w is the weight of the bird in lbs. Estimate the weight of a bird whose wing has a surface area of 4 square feet

You're going to want to rearrange the equation so that w is on it's own, then you can evaluate it by replacing S(w) with 4 square ft to give you the weight
