OpenStudy (danielbarriosr1):

Why did the people of France exiled Napoleon?

OpenStudy (kittyjosh):

He was exiled because in 1813 the Sixth Coalition defeated his forces in the Battle of Leipzig, and France was then invaded. Later, he escaped from Elba, and became the leader of France again, but was defeated for the final time at the Battle of Waterloo, and then spent the last years of his life in confinement.
