The Sugar Sweet Company is going to transport its sugar to market. It will cost $6000 to rent trucks, and it will cost an additional $200 for each ton of sugar transported. Let C represent the total cost (in dollars), and let S represent the amount of sugar (in tons) transported. Write an equation relating C to S, and then graph your equation using the axes below. I have the equation as c=200s+6000 is that right and how would I graph this?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

looks correct to me :P and to graph it, 6000 is y-intercept and when you move right one unit, line goes up 200

like this?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

oh if that's the scaling... then yes for the first point and you next point would be (5, 7000)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

nvm me, I was reading it right before >,<
