If 100 cents makes $1 how many cents are in $90?

Could you be more exact with your question please? (:

Oh okay.

OpenStudy (gudden):

@zari3200 ... if 1 $ = 100 cents then 90$ = 90 * 100 cents

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you have 100 cents = 1 dollar. If you multiply 1 dollar with 90 you get 90 dollars. But then you also have to multiply 100 cents with 90. That makes 9000 cents. So 9000 cents = 90 dollars.
