a father is 5 times older than his son. five years from now, the father will be three times older than his son. how old is each now if we are to take the data given in the first 2 sentences, considering no recent years?

If the son is 5 years old the Dad is 25. In 5 years the son will be 10 and the dad will be 30 making him 3 times older.
