Anybody give me an idea what to write about for a story with the theme PERSEVERANCE !! Anybody plz

friends are all applying to colleges all friends get into their college that they want and 1 person doesn't and at one point decides to go to the army but continues on and finally gets accepted basic and simple but hey

Maybe someone is trying to dampen your spirit to do something by calling you names and bullying you but you did not give up and you showed him that you can do it? Just an idea

Can anyone help with a idea of a story that I may write that includes lots of events and a huge conflict with a peaceful resolution with the theme PERSEVERANCE
