Help with tension, how do I do these and what formulas do I use? The tension in a horizontal string is used to accelerate 43.5kg crate, along a horizontal friction-less surface, at the rate of 2.25m/s/s. a)find tension and b)What will this tension be in order to lift the crate vertically upward at constant velocity?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

A tension is simply the name given to the force exerted by a string. Replace the word 'tension' by the word 'force' in your problem.
