are you graphing this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slope is rise 3 and run 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes graphing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put a point on y=-2 and rise 3 and run 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u need help understanding it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The easiest way to graph an equation in x and y (which will be a straight line) is to find two sets of values for x and y that satisfy this equation. Putting 0 for x is easy: y = -2. Now put in 1 for x: y = 3-2 = 1. So two points that are "on the line" are at (0, -2) and (1, 1).

where did you get 1,1???
