Is matrix multiplication more difficult than matrix inverse?

To some extend It can be said that matrix inversion can be more complicated than matrix multiplication but it really depends on the method that you may choose to find the inverse.

Well eclectic you need to specify difficult in what sense? If you are talking in terms of difficulty of doing it on paper... the answer is NO. multiplication is easier. If your are taking instead about doing it on a computer with a program.. there are approaches which make one thing easier than the other.
