Our football coach gathered us together and told us to run laps, and then he made us lift weights, and then he said we had to scrimmage. Which revision corrects the faulty coordination in the sentence?

The coach is telling you you had to run laps, lift weights, and then scrimmage. He told you, made you, had you. They are all basically the same thing, so they fit well in a list. And, in a list, the items must be coordinated/agree, and be as simple and clear as possible. To use "then we" or "he said to" before the last item in the list is redundant.
