Question 1 Analyze the data for Class A and Class B. Part 1: What is the mean and standard deviation for Classes A and B? Part 2: Make a box plot of the data for Classes A and B. Identify the median, first and third quartiles, minimum and maximum data points. Part 3: Explain how the values for Classes A and B vary about the mean and median. What information does this give Mrs. Smith?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

I would use excel to find the mean and standard deviation for this. too many numbers

OpenStudy (abb0t):

mean is the average median is themiddle number in a list of them (they must be in numerical order) standard deviation is just a measure of how spread out your data is.
