write each given expression in terms of sine and cosine and express the result in simplest form: (sin theta)(cot theta)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Hello, lyubas! Happy to chat with you again! We're supposed to re-write this expression:

OpenStudy (mathmale):

(sin theta )(cot theta) in terms of only sine and cosine. Let's do that first:

OpenStudy (mathmale):

(sin theta)(cot theta) =(sin theta)( cos theta over sin theta) =cos theta. that's it. We can cancel out the 2 sine terms.
