What is fluoridation of water?
adding fluorine to water supplies.
Can it harm you?
Do you think we should add it to our water supply?
wait sorry i mean fluoride ions \(F^-\), not fluorine \(F_2\). they claim it helps with teeth decay, but i personally don't know.
That is what I read also.
That water that you buy at a pet store, is that fluoride water?
nope, unless it says so.
oh ok
did you mean grocery store? i don't think they sell water at pet stores
Because my dog had some serious smelling breath, I gave that to her for a week straight and they smelt and looked so much better!!!
oh so it was medicated? i'm guessing there was other stuff besides fluoride ions, i'm not sure what kind of water you're talking about, i haven't come across it. If you still have the bottle (or remember the brand) you can look it up online.
No I got it a Pet's Super Market
I don't remember the name
hm i see. well i tried googling it, nothing like that came up, so i can't really help you with that.
Although it helps with tooth decay, if the concentration of fluorine gets too high, it can become dangerous to our gastrointestinal system. Also keep in mind that fluorine is pretty reactive, the potential for it to react with other things also makes it risky. That's my guess on this.
