Okay, so to find the percentage of 2,500 confer them to decimals, by moving the decimal point 2 times to the left then multiply to the 2,500 to get 35% of 2,500 in order to compare the #'s the Ellen spends Rent : .35 x 2,500 = $875 on rent Transportation: .08 x 2,500 = $200 on transportation So Ellen spends 675 dollars more on rent than transportation :) Understand, any q's?
