Can you please hep me "rewrite the polynomial in standard form. Then identify the leading coefficient, degree, and number of terms. Name the polynomial." 5x^2 - 4x^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Degree is 3 .. i think cause its supposed to be biggest number of x. standard form is Ax+By=C right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but polynomial standard form is BIGGEST degree first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so.. -4x^3+5x^2 is standard form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 5x2 - 4x3; leading coefficient: -4; degree: 3; # of terms: 2; cubic binomial B. 5x2 - 4x3; leading coefficient: 3; degree: -4; # of terms: 2; quadratic polynomial C. -4x3 + 5x2; leading coefficient: -4; degree: 3; # of terms: 2; cubic binomial D. -4x3 + 5x2; leading coefficient: 3; degree: -4; # of terms: 2; quadratic polynomial
