Which sentence uses italics or quotation marks correctly? A. We found the short story The Scarlet Ibis, by James Hurst, quite moving. B. The Gift of the Magi is included in this collection of short stories by O. Henry. C. Ray Bradbury's short story "There Will Come Soft Rains" is thought-provoking. D. "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" by Ambrose Bierce is a short story with a surprise ending.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Short stories and articles get quotation marks. C and D seem right to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it would be C because I think Ambrose Bierce would be in italics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Ambrose Bierce" is the author's name, no italics.

@Destinymasha Help?

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

she probably submitted it already .....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We cannot see the italics, just as we do not see underlining.

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

so how are we supposed to know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Doomed. I went with analyzing the sentences for which we had quotation marks.

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

well, yes, we are doomed.....

so the answer is what?
