Pls help:)
Can someone pls chck my answers for the first 10 questions?
@e.mccormick
Hmmm... in two's complement, I thought 11111111 is only -1
ya I too thought bt only if it is given as signed it' b so. since it is not mentioned as signed or unsigned and jast as a number in 2's compliment. I selected both
Well, there are also differences between strict Two's complement math and computers. On the last one, go with whatever your book or class says. Modern processor designs have basically broken the relationship between the CPU word length and data bus, but if the class is going with the older definition they are the same.
On the maps, not sure. On the other hardware questions, they look fine.
for the last one are there any other possibilities. I jst found this in the internet nt n my buks or notes
You mean 11 on down?
no. the wordlength question
Here, this talks about the differences, but note that when you mean an older machine, they were the same: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11472484/word-size-and-data-bus
how about for the two's compliment? will +255 also be an option
As far as I recall, in two's, it is just -1.
oh k. thnx a lot:)
