Identify the dependent clause in this sentence: She'll stomp in the mud puddles after the rain ends. A. She'll stomp in the mud puddles B. in the mud puddles C. after the rain ends D. the rain ends

I think an independent clause is a clause that can stand alone in a sentence. A dependent clause is the opposite. She'll stomp the mud puddles is the independent clause. After the rain ends is the dependent clause, because it cant stand alone :)
