Okay thanks. I have one I just have to find it..

Get strong hand muscles. Memorize where to put your fingers. And try and play to music before you play on your own.

Do a lot of scales to get your fingers used to the range of chords and watch youtube videos to help you out.

Don't give up on those bar chords.

the easiest thing for me and what made it fun along the way is learn a song you like, or try to, and play it over and over and over again until you see what all is involved in it.

and, always learn your scales. Scales are extremely important parts in learning your guitar and will help you understand so much stuff.

Use finger exercises daily until you think you are ready to move on to the next step. When you want to learn the notes, look up the basic tabs (A B C D E F G). After you practice the notes and remember where your fingers belong for each chord, look up a song you like and start to practice each of the notes.
