can someone help me with this problem A women saves 10% of her salary every month. Her company has fallen on hard times, so her monthly salary has just decreased from 3,600 to $3,000. the women decides to save the same dollar amount each month, even though her salary is reduced. What percentage of her new salary will her savings be now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10% of her original salary was 3600*10%=360. She saves the same amount of money with her new salary of 3000$ so she still puts aside 360 of 3000. To find the new percentage that this is, just divide the amount she saves by the amount she earns percent saved = amount saved / amount earned
