How does discrimination afect differant characters?

That depends on the plot, but generally characters tend to be pleased or unhappy based on the discrimination. For example, if someone is discriminated against and has to pay extra money for something, they will be unhappy and will be angered or upset towards the person or people who are discriminating against him/her. If the character is not being discriminated against and doesn't have to pay extra, they may be happy that they are not in the class or race that is being discriminated against. Though it really depends on the situation, it is safe to say that most characters are displeased with discrimination.
