In order to solve a quadratic eq by graphing, you need to find the factors of the given quadratic equation. @BeautifulBelieber

I don't understand :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ \huge x^2-6x+8=0 \rightarrow x^2-4x-2x+8=0\] \[\huge \rightarrow x(x-4)-2(x-4)=0\] \[\huge \rightarrow (x-4)(x-2)=0\] \[\huge i.e. (x-4)=0 or (x-2)=0\] \[\huge i.e. x= 4 or x= 2 \rightarrow x= 2, 4\] Now in the graph draw lines intersecting X-axis at 2 and 4 and parallel to Y- axis. @BeautifulBelieber
