A Similarities is:
They both have x^2, in them.

A Difference is:
One is a perfect square trinomial, one is called the difference of two squares.

this is actually the first equation
dont know if you can get marked down for that but it usually wouldnt be expressed to as the second power.
it would just simply be 2x.

10x+ 16
