Could someone show me how to do these? Divide.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(8m ^{7}-10m ^{5})\div2m ^{3}\]

OpenStudy (phi):

\[ \frac{8m^7 - 10 m^5}{2m^3} \] when we subtract fractions with the same denominator we do this \[ \frac{8m^7 }{2m^3} - \frac{10 m^5} {2m^3}= \frac{8m^7 - 10 m^5}{2m^3}\] in other words, that is two ways to the write the same thing. simplify each of the two fractions

OpenStudy (phi):

I assume you know m^7 means m*m*m*m*m*m*m and when you divide by m*m*m, some of the m's cancel
