The Odyssey reveals the character traits of its epic hero, Odysseus. Select a particular scene from the parts of The Odyssey that you read in the textbook during this unit. Identify three qualities, either positive or negative, that this scene reveals about our hero and discuss each one using examples from the poem. How do these personal qualities help or hinder his goal to return home to Ithaca? Does his behavior in the selected scene change the reader's perspective of him?
