A small coin sits on top of a wooden block. A horizontal force applied to the block accelerates the block to the right and the con begins to slide. True or false: While sliding, the kinetic friction force on the coin acts to the left. I am thinking that this is true b/c the force pushes both the coin and block right and the kinetic frictional force, which opposes the force, pushes left and causes the coin to slide. Maybe I am just looking for assurance?
