Point B(5, 6, 1) is translated using the transformation (x 2, y + 3, z + 1). What are the coordinates of B´? (Points : 5) B´(3, 3, 0) B´(3, 1, 0) B´(3, 3, 1) B´(3, 1, 3)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

The rule (x - 2, y + 3, z + 1) means you * subtract 2 from the x coordinate * add 3 to the y coordinate * add 1 to the z coordinate to get the next point

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

For example, if we have the point C(7,9,14), then applying the transformation gives us (x - 2, y + 3, z + 1) (7 - 2, 9 + 3, 14 + 1) (5, 12, 15) which means we now have C'(5,12,15)
