do you have any reasons why family day shouldn't be a holiday? Its part of my essay and i need some ideas

Well, if you focus on the word "family," you're doomed.

I'd focus on the word "holiday."

What are holidays? Do we have too many? Maybe that's the line-of-attack.

Also, what are families and who defines them? For example, would a woman with a dog be considered family? I'd say yes if she means plenty to her own little heart.

Never-the-less, going for quantity rather than quality of family might be the way to go.
