You're welcome. Alright, in this one first start with the first set. Start by multiplying. 5 times 8 is 40. 40 minus 12 is 28. So 28 is in the first set of paretheses. In the second set start by multiplying 9 by 4, which is 36. 36 divided by 36 is 1. So 1 is in the second set. Then you have (28) (1) 28 multiplied by 1 is 28 :)
