In the box below, you will choose two of the more difficult words from the first two paragraphs of the "I Have a Dream" speech. You probably already have a list generated after reading the excerpt in the previous lesson. Please do not choose the words that were used in the examples. After you identify the two words, you will explain in 100-200 words the thought processes you go through for each word when trying to make meaning of a difficult word. The focus of this assignment is on the thought process and your explanation of how you figure out the meanings of the two difficult words from the speech. You can return to the previous lessons and review Context Clues to help you with this assignment. While the focus of this assignment is the thought process explanation, be sure to pay attention to spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
