water molecules will move inside the cell down their concentration gradient..leading to the swelling of the cell, and the bursting of the cell if its an animal cell or the cell being turgid in case of plant cellls. @sachin00007 , emmm, am thinking the opposite of what you wrote is true.

you talking about osmosis here right??so osmosis is the special diffusion of water molecules from a region of their high concentration to their region of low concentration through a selectively permeable membrane.
look at it from the perspective of the movement of water molecules and not of sugar molecules...
