The fact she married the King of Spain Philip II over the protests of her subjects, then she resurrected laws about heresy and tried to outlaw the Protestant religion and churches (because Mary had been raised Catholic), and over 300 people were burned at the stake over this religious issue. One more black mark in history regarding rulers/government mandating religious beliefs of its subjects.
