OpenStudy (leozap1):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the top and bottom lines are parallel, we can conclude that 4x and x+30 are corresponding angles. So, they add up to 180. therefore, 4x+x+30=180

OpenStudy (leozap1):

5. What is the angle of <1 a. 45* b. 60* c. 120* d. 125*

OpenStudy (leozap1):

Thanks. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem you can take it from here.

OpenStudy (leozap1):

Ok so #4 is 30*?

OpenStudy (leozap1):

How would I solve #5?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

now that you have x x+30 = angle 1

OpenStudy (leozap1):

#5 was 120*. :'(

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

oh gosh I'm so sorry! it was supposed to be x+30 + <1 = 180

OpenStudy (leozap1):

Its ok, thanks for trying to help though.
