you see how I posted the fractions above.....hmm...how to explain....you see how the 5 is diagonal from the 10 ? And the 3 is diagonal from the 9 ? Think of it as reducing..
5 3 5 goes into 5, one time, and 5 goes into 10, two times. So change the 5 to a
---- x ---- 1 and the 10 to a 2. Now look at the 3 and the 9. 3 goes into 3 one time
9 10 and 3 goes into 9 three times. This changes your fractions to : 1/3 * 1/2.

I am not really good at explaining that. Can you understand ??

And yea, it really does. Though multiplying across is about the same thing, takes up same amount of time. Especially if you remember your time tabels
