I have to do this project on "Fever 1793" by Laurie Halse Anderson where I have to create a soundtrack and find 6 songs (With artist & song name), say what scene in the book I would put the song at, and write paragraphs on why the lyrics fit with the scene in the book. It's not a very hard project but i'm really struggling on finding good songs that would fit in any scene.

I need some help from people who have read the book or know any scenes from the book and suggest some songs I can use. (You don't have to include the scene, but that would help also.)

I haven't read that book in a long time but I've always wanted this type of assignment. Try looking up the lyrics and listening to wires by the neighborhood. It's kind of about struggling (the fever) and not really having a chance to get better from it. Might not help that much but I'll try and think of more. Another song that comes to mind is all these things that I've done by the killers but I don't know the book well enough to know where it fits.  The song Cancer by my chemical romance might be a stretch but you might as well give it a try. Also check out clairvoyant by the story so far. There's probably a time in the book where one of the main characters feels hopeless and kind of gets really down on themself. Hope I helped.
