What is the reciprocal of -13/8 A. 8/13 B. 13/8 C. -13/8 D. -8/13 I think it's D

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

I think the reciprocal would be flipping it and multiplying it by -1. Maybe I'm think about slopes. but, -13/8 -> -8/13 * -1 = 8/13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To get the reciprocal of a number, just divide 1 by the number

@jada1701877 : you are right

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

It says just flip it: http://www.mathsisfun.com/reciprocal-fraction.html So its just -8/13

OpenStudy (atlas):

@tHe_FiZiCx99 : yes you are thinking abt the slopes :P

Thank you guys for the help ;)

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):
